United States President Barack Obama felt very comfortable at the annual White House Correspondents' Dinner held last night. Some of his jokes were relevant pokes at Israel and the Republicans.
"I look so old John Boehner has already invited Netanyahu to speak at my funeral," Obama stated, referring to Prime Minister Netanyahu's invitation to address the US Congress.
"A few weeks ago, Dick Cheney said I'm the worst president of his lifetime... Which is interesting because I think Dick Cheney is the worst president of my lifetime," he added.

On a more serious note, Obama told reporters there were journalists around the world who had been unjustly imprisoned, and spoke of Washington Post's Jason Rezaian, who has been imprisoned in Iran since 2014.  “For nine months, Jason has been in prison for nothing more than writing about the hopes and fears of the Iranian people. I have told him personally that we will not rest until we bring him home to his family, safe and sound,” Obama stated.
