Some Bayelsa youths are currently protesting the irregularities which marred the Bayelsa state governorship election.

According to one of the youth who refused to give his name, he alleged that there was ballot snatching, harassment of electorates.
“Election did not take place in most places across this state. In Opolo, sagbama, ekeremo, and more experienced irregularities.”
“We are calling on INEC to stop the collation of the result as election did not take place in some places in the state.”

It was earlier reported that the results for the on-going gubernatorial election in Bayelsa will be collated and announced at the Bayelsa State Independent Electoral Commission (BYSIEC).
